Why do so many people think that there is any blue in Kitana's Upper arm bracelets (or whatever you call them). Not only here, but I see a lot of artwork where people colour the middle part (between the two greys) blue. It has started to rather annoy me. There isn't any blue there, because it isn't cloth! It is grey/silver metal. Take a look at her vs screen render.

With that said, it is a very good photo.

First off, thank you :]

I was debating on that when I was making the costume. I see here [link] that there is no blue, but it certainly looks like there's some in these two [link] , [link] (which are official also), so you can see where some of us may have been confused. It's also hard to tell in-game, and I just thought they were being a little inconsistent, which is common. Thank you, though. I'm remaking her in her player 2 color, so I'll make sure to have the arm bands correct :]

Yes, I do understand why people may think that there is some blue there, but if you look closely, there isn't. She does not have any blue in those two links that you sent me of her official renders. It's dark grey. And the reason it looks dark grey (not blue) is because it is a shade-effect due to the way her armbands are constructed. The metal goes inwards in the middle, which only naturally makes it appearb darker than the two outer parts which go outwards compared to the middle part. The same is the case in-game: It's not blue, but dark grey because of the shading. If you look at her vs. screen render, you will realize how they are constructed and why there is darker shading in the middle.

Anywaaay... I didn't mean any offence. It's just that I have seen so much artwork and costplay where people have got it wrong, so it has really started to annoy me. I'm a sucker when it comes to details. XD I notice everything.
